The bible is specific about the location of the Garden isn't it? And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
(Genesis 2:10-14 KJV)

If it had been hidden then there would be no need for the flaming sword going back and forth, that is a clear deterrent mechanism.

That description doesn't currently make any geographical sense, unless some of the terms are mistranslated.

The flaming sword is what is hiding...? Not a deterrent like a wall

Well that is where I am coming from. It took time for the curse to consume things. Eventually the garden died out along with the tree due to changes by the curse. You have to take into the effects of the curse over time. Everything wasn't instant in the physical realm.

Possible, but rivers don't run from Ethiopia to Assyria or vice versa. Jewish writers before Christ would however know that so I'm not so sure the terms are translated correctly.

Evidence of that in the Bible ?

It's on fire, a war sign. A deterrent to whoever would think about approaching to get past it.
