Excellent.
To me, it makes more sense to donate to the poor (or a charity that helps the poor) than to a rich pastor who lives in a big mansion and drives a Mercedes.

Prov. 19:17 in case anybody didn't realize that was a scripture. :)

Keep that pastor poor and humble! Give him a car that is a wreck and a house that is run down and little salary so he cannot care for his family.
O yes, there are many people like that. Afterall, it is wrong to have anything. Sin!

"If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and give him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.

That was the purpose of the "poor tithe", the one they gave once every three years.
Deut 14:28 “At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates.
29 And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
