Christian cliches that make you cringe
I saw these on facebook recently. Do you have any to add?
God has a reason for your suffering.
Everything happens for a reason.
God won't give you more than you can handle.

Actually all are relevant and accurate if you really really think about it

You may not like the reason but he knows exactly why you are suffering
Everything happens for a reason.
There is a reason and answer why everything happens but it doesn't mean God was involved
God won't give you more than you can handle.
God's grace is available when we go through tough times but we can also put ourselves into stressful situations he never wanted us to suffer

As for your response to the first one TT, it's implying God is behind the suffering. You forgot to distinguish He may not be like you did with the second one. Unless you are tying the 2 together. :)

All of those irritate me because they give the FALSE impression that God is the cause of it.

Here's another one I can't stand. "Let go and let God."

FYI, "Let go and let God," simply means I surrender everything to God. I like it but of course some don't. Maybe it hits them too hard.

This one I get tired of: “God helps those who help themselves.”

I'm thinking that it could be interpreted in several different ways by different people.
