Speaking the truth of sin and it's progressive destructive nature in this life and in eternity is all we need to do...the Holy Spirit who knows them perfectly will do the rest....there is ample warning throughout the NT that does that...

The Slow fade of sin is a reality and the reality that them more darkened a soul becomes the less likely they are to know it is also a reality...speaking THAT is something I do on a regular basis...

Paul stated the Spirit is the one who searches the heart and knows it perfectly and I hold total confidence He does this with everyone...to the point they become reprobate...

Colonel it is our responsibility to warn people, what they do with those warnings is totally up to them...

There is no scripture that is incompatible....they just SEEM that way to a reasoning mind....the revelation that makes it clear how both seeming incompatible truths form perfect truth..at least that is what I do when I encounter things in scripture that seem incompatible...

To pick one over the other is very dangerous....We must seek the third option...

I define The third option as that amazing revelation that neither carnal Christians nor the world can grasp...that truth that is spiritually revealed that scripture says the carnal mind cannot comprehend...YOU KNOW...you have had them...it takes two seemingly incompatible statements and reveals how they are both true...

And the most powerful thing is when that happens a whole new level of revelation becomes possible....

You can't just equate your doctrine to scripture then go with that. Other doctrines that are compatible with Hebrews 6 are also compatible with James 2, that is a very good indication that they are more in line with scripture as a whole.
