Castaway in 1 Corinthians 9:27 is Strong's G0096
Reprobate in Romans 1:28 is G0096
G0096 in the greek is:
unapproved, rejected, worthless (literally or morally): KJV -- castaway, rejected, reprobate.
This is another point where Paul is demonstrating that OSAS is false even saying it was possible for him to be rejected by the Lord, having fallen away... IF he did not keep his body under subjection which is saying he walked after the spirit and not the flesh so he would not be rejected.
This is in agreement with Romans 8:4 and Romans 8:13 among others...
You trying to pull a VW FT? One misinterpreted verse does not a doctrine kill.
Even Scofield disagrees with you and he's on your side:
Gr. adokimos, "disapproved." Dokimos, without the private a, is translated "approved" in Rom 14:18 16:10 1Cor 11:19 2Cor 10:18 2Tim 2:15 Jas 1:12, by the word "tried." The prefix simply changes the word to a negative, i.e. not approved, or, disapproved.
The apostle is writing of service, not of salvation. He is not expressing fear that he may fail of salvation but of his crown. See "Rewards" Dan 12:3 1Cor 3:14.

What you're totally ignoring is the other bits of the Bible that tell us that "Perseverance is a work that God, in his own strength, accomplishes in believers. That Christians' perseverance is accomplished by God is made especially clear at John 6:35-40:"
