    A. not a game

    B. God only give one kind of life .. eternal

    C. Being obedient doesn't secure anyone's salvation, Jesus did that, it means they will have a more rewarding, peaceful, joyful, (etc, etc) life here on earth. It never goes well for us when we're not doing what we're supposed to be doing, or doing what we're not supposed to be doing. BUT, it does not affect the status of our spiritual life through Jesus.

You should really learn more about the New Covenant that clearly teaches that if we walk after the flesh... we shall die! This is because, we would be rejecting the Sacrifice God has provided.

If I believe what you are saying, I could go back to being a sinner (ignore God and let my freak flag fly!) living a lifestyle of sin and according to you I would go to Heaven anyway although I "may" lose a few person rewards.

If I did that, you think I would still go to Heaven?

God stated man would die if they ate from the tree so t could be argued God pronounced death on the sinner..and then worked diligently through time to provide man a way out of that sentence. Believing man can choose to return the gift given is the issue, not the gift itself.

Has spag/bol last night. The particular mince that's now being digested is there because I picked it. There were other packets on the shelf but I picked that one.

Same with us and our salvation. Our salvation is secure because God picked up. We believe because God gave us the ability to etc.

Christianity is a lifetime thing. During that time some may appear more obedient than others, but God's aware of that, it's all part of His mix to create the eternal kingdom that He's creating.

Read, and believe, Romans chapter 8

God gave us the definition of "death" in the book of Genesis when He told Adam and Eve that in the day they eat of that tree... they shall surely die.

So, they ate... and continually lives for 830 years, physically.

God's definition of "death" is to be separated from Him and the New Testament provides further revelation concerning this which can be had in Romans chapter 8... for your reading pleasure!

God does only give one kind of life-eternal.
Everyone born has an eternal spirit. The question is what the eternal address for that spirit will be. Those who aren't born again will spend eternity in the lake of fire, which the bible considers as eternal death.

Romans 11:22New King James Version (NKJV)

22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness,[a] if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
Colossians 1:23New King James Version (NKJV)

23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
Hebrews 8:9New King James Version (NKJV)

9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
And let us not forget the parable of the Sower. Some started out good, but then allowed the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the life right out of them.

How many times did Paul warn the churches not to walk away from the faith?

And James couldn't have made it more clearer for us: Brethren (saved people), if anyone among you WANDERS FROM THE TRUTH, WANDERS FROM THE TRUTH,WANDERS FROM THE TRUTH,WANDERS FROM THE TRUTH, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner(back-slidden Christian) from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
