I barely even have a cell phone. I hate it. It's always dead and hiding somewhere in the house. I've used it maybe once in the past six months...and it wasn't to find a Bible verse.

I always carry a KJV Bible into the pulpit with me but often use the NLT, NIV, AMP, and the HCSB in my Power Point presentations of my sermons. I use the PowerPoint in every Sunday morning service. In the evening services I often read from different translations listed above. I usually access them from my IPad but have on occasion used my IPhone to pull up another translation. In my estimation, the HCSB is probably the most accurate but the NLT is ranked at the top in readability.
I do the same though I use a few other versions such as the CEV, NCV, Wuest Expanded NT God's Word and a few others if they say something in the way that I need them to say it.

I like both the NASB and the NLT.

It gives me a good balance to read from both.

Although, I always need a concordance because I memorized mostly from the KJV so I have to get it there first.

Actually a frustrating thing (for me) is when the preacher reads from his paraphase and you look at your translation and want to yell "that's NOT what the Bible says".

I knew that's what that stood for. I started to post, "I know you want someone to ask what that stands for, but I'm not gonna do it."

Of course Colonel fell for the 'trap'.

Colonel never scores an A++ on the English tests around here. He wishes that W would show up and hack this forum until it only accepts perfect Norwegian..
