God gave man dominion... man fell, God provided way of Salvation thru Jesus Christ for every person.

The gift and callings of God are without repentance, therefore man decide to accept and walk in God's Salvation, or reject it.

God is allowing people to go either way since their ability to decide was given by God when He created man in His Image which is how man got dominion over his own life... and that is not taken away.

No matter how you slice it, God is letting us have what we want... eternity with Him, or eternity without Him.

You hit the nail on the head there Farm Truck. If we understand God's actions as merely allowing His established laws of sowing and reaping to take place and that He gave man the freedom and authority to determine his own choices and to benefit or suffer the built-in rewards and consequences of these choices then it would alleviate a lot of confusion.

The Bible cannot simply be read apart from following Biblical interpretation principles or one will constantly come to erroneous conclusions as the Colonel obviously demonstrates in his posts.

What you are doing here is to claim one interpretation then simply override any detail in the Bible with that, then you apply that as a trump card in a debate. The problem is that you yourself believe that God himself torments people in the lake of fire for eternity, not that that is permissive. Never mind the fact that you believe that he applies this to his own people in the sense that they may die with the Holy Spirit, with genuine faith and still they end up in the lake of fire because they died while living in sin. Your various views are simply incompatible.

Well, the Bible says let him who is IGNORANT be ignorant still

For anyone who would like to move from ignorance and understand proper Bible interpretation principles that vindicates God's character please check out our free online book, "Does God Engage in Destructive Behavior?"

A Bible interpretation principle that you yourself do not apply when that suits you. We're not talking about a small detail either, we are talking about the most important form of judgment, in fact the only one that really matters because it isn't temporal.

2 Thes 1:7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

Sowing and reaping, aka seedtime and harvest... is the Operating System of the Kingdom of God. God's own actions are governed by seedtime and harvest. When He said "let there by light", He did not get shade. His words were the seed and the result was the fruit. He said light, and He got light.

The seedtime and harvest system that God created to mange and govern all that He has created is ingenious because it has death built in. This simply means, any seeds planted that are not in agreement with God are consequently not of God, therefore they do not have God's presence and approval (anointing) on them... so those seeds produce death which is the reciprocal of life.

Bottom line is very simple. Being in agreement with God is required to remain in covenant with Him. It's quite possible for someone to have started off in covenant with God (become born again) and later become in opposition to God causing them to lose their salvation.

God is not the One Who is not upholding His promises... the backslider is the one turning their back on the covenant, and since God is the One who gave the person free will (made man in His image, which is why what we sow is what we reap... God is not mocked), He would have to become a liar to allow them in to Heaven if they have decided to turn their back on being in a relationship with God.

This is why once saved, always saved is a false doctrine and is very, very dangerous and is in fact a satanic doctrine because satan wants people to think they can live after the flesh (which is in opposition to God, because they are denying God's right to live and walk in them - which is the purpose of your existence - God's will as spoken of in 2 Corinthians 6:16,17)... and will still go to Heaven.

Those that live in a carnal lifestyle are going to be shocked to find out they have rejected the covenant with God and they themselves are the ones that will cause themselves to be rejected. God did not reject them, they rejected God and God must allow people to reap what they sow because God created man in His image - He literally replicated Himself when He created man.

hell was created for satan and his angels... and Adam gave the realm of the flesh over to the lordship of satan. sin in the flesh has been condemned (Romans 8:3), so those that live a lifestyle of being led by the flesh instead of being lead by the Spirit... will go where satan and his angels go, to hell where there will be eternal torment (Matthew 25:46).

This is why God gives mankind the answer... choose life! satan's efforts always include "did God really say that???"

It's too bad that many Christians are listening to satan. It's slow to do so because... God wrote a Book that tells us the answer in advance.

This is why more and more translations coming out now change what God says and the Bible overall is being attacked as not being reliable and credible. That in and of itself should let people know it's true. satan, and those walking after the flesh, will always question God's written Word. the enemy only attacks that which is destructive to him and his cause and his cause is to turn people away from being in covenant (agreement) with God.
