What Old Testament people or stories intrigue you the most?

For me one of top ones would be Adam and Eve. So many questions, did they live in a house? Did they have to brush their teeth? Did they have to sleep? The animals were tame, were they able to communicate with them? How long were they in Eden before the fall?

So how about you? What people or stories are you curious about?

When it comes to asking question I think I agree with you, but the disciples of Jesus also would make for a very interesting conversation.

I've always been curious about the animals on the Ark...Did they all fall into a deep sleep? If not, how were they fed, how did Noah's family handle the "clean up," and what kept them from fighting and devouring one another?

    NEW TESTAMENT:
What happened to Mary's husband, Joseph? Obviously he died, but where, how and when?

What was Jesus like as a child - Did he go through the Terrible Twos, get into trouble with other kids, or was he the "perfect" child?

Is there something specific about them that you're curious about?

I'd love to know how Daniel and guys got together to decide about not eating.. and what thought about the whole lion thing.. and the furnace! That had to be scary.

Joseph, was he totally unaware of what he brothers thought? He was that clueless?

    I think I'd have loved knowing Elijah.. he's a real 1st class smart a$$.

I really enjoy the OT stories. The characters are so rich.

I agree. Wouldn't it have been great to see David standing up to Goliath, or seeing how big the whale was that swallowed Jonah.

King David fascinates me but he also scares the snot out of me. I think he was a very scary guy.
Moses would have to be a favorite. He hated when he saw people being abused. He listened to God and did what God told him to do. He taught and he was an amazing leader. His courage was simply thrilling.
One of my favorites was Caleb! His name can mean either, "dog" or "as the heart (of God)". He conquered Hebron at the age of 80! I love it that the old guy was just getting started with settling down and probably planned on spending another 40 years making his new home a place to be proud of.

    1. I've always wanted to know what Sarah looked like. Evidently she was so beautiful that Abraham said "say you're my sister".
    2. what was the "mark" that God put on Cain.
    3. Before the fall, while in the Garden of Eden, did Adam, Eve and the animals all understand each other. Cause when the snake spoke to Eve she didn't go screaming that the snake was speaking.
Really I want to know it all
