How do you like to study the Bible?
I like going through one of the books verse by verse, but also I find it very good and to study characters.

Lately I've been more so studying topics and will do certain key word searches on Bible Gateway on subjects like faith and fruit and trees.
But yes, I still on occasion like to pick a chapter and study it verse by verse too.

I'm led to select a Book, and then I study it verse by verse - I'm currently in Romans (again)

In the past I've done a lot of serious study. Some was topical, however, most was by book. Now, I read what comes to mind which usually ends in following a short study trail. I almost always see something I missed before.

We've started a study of Colossians at church and the first thing that caught my attention was how confident Paul was in his calling from God, and the next thing was all the good things he had heard about their church .... so what reason do we have to spread good news about our church, I thought. I'm going to share from chapter 1 on Sunday in a week, and my third point will be "the holy ones" -- set aside for Christ. Thoughts any one?

Since I'm doing more teaching now, I usually read & study on whatever subject the Holy Spirit gives me. Other than that, I like following the Bible plans from YouVersion. They have some really good ones, I find that I read more of the Bible, and by the end if the year, I have read most of it.
