Brother Copeland has publicly stated on numerous occasions that he does not dye his hair... which is possible since he's got enjun family background. Some American Indians never get gray at all.

Hopefully he's not lying since Jesus said all liars will have their part in the lake of fire... what bothers me more than that is he seems to be impressed with the pope. That's a red flag since the pope teaches man-made religious tradition and not God's Word... from such we should turn away if they refuse to repent.

I kinda doubt the pope will be repenting as he is the lead candidate for false prophet

    Except of course... vanity

At least Perry Stone admits it on the air and laughs about it.

He goes gray for a while and them he'll have jet black hair for a while so with him it's obvious.

Talkin the talk, but not walkin the walk

Yep, that's what happens when one becomes overly concerned about pleasing people.

Everyone knows if you start looking old you are no longer relevant and your offerings and product sales go down.

All the more reason to look at all things from God's point of view, you know... seated in Christ far above all devils who seek to get people distracted from walking with the Lord by the vanity of worrying about how they look physically.

Sometimes it's not their vanity...it's for those they are speaking in front of...to remove any distractions...the less one focuses on the speaker the more one can focus on what is spoken..

In that case, they should just show pictures of flowers or something instead of their face on TV and just have audio of their preaching.

There is most definitely vanity going on cause everyone on TV, preacher or otherwise, is all worried about looking nice and out dressing others.

That's the down side of the gospel on TV... it turns in to marketing and drama

Are you saying if someone dresses nice and tries to look their best their hearts are always vain? If so, in that case we should all walk around un-bathed and in sackcloth and ashes. Then everyone would know we re not vain.

I think when Paul talked to women he said they should give attention to the inward adorning but I don't think he was being critical of outward adorning, just stating how irrelevant it is to God and how relevant the condition of the heart is to God. So I don't presume their dress code reflects a vain heart..it may and it may not.

God cares more about why we do certain things than the fact that we do those things..so the person who always dresses extremely modest may be just a hypocrite and a Pharisee..we cannot judge the heart by the outward..

This world is so concerned about how people look and it has invaded the church.

Just wait until that blonde hair lady preacher starts teaching in her low cut tight shirt (I think her name is Paula something er other)... yeah, all the lust devils tune in to check that out! You know, the lady that just married the rock star who doesn't publicly acknowledge he is a Christian... probably because he isn't! (I thought God said to not be unequally yoked... but what the hey, once saved, always saved so what does God's instructions matter anyway?)

So yeah, coloring your hair and spending ridiculous amounts of donor money for the most expensive clothes and other excessive possessions is vanity.

Those that do this are experiencing their reward now in this life, cause they will be at the bottom of the totem pole if they make it to Heaven. Those that are first will be last.

But, whatever... in the end I think we are going to find that much of what we think is OK is not actually OK with the Lord and I say this as one that believes in prosperity in all areas of life.

Some of these folks put way too much emphasis on stuff and how they look since being on TV is more than an act versus being real. The majority of Christian TV is scripted and not being directed by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ... there's another "holy spirit" floating around out there and he's all about lookin good baby!

I just noticed when looking at a recent Copeland video that he has a lot of hair on the back of his hands. And it is all the same color as the hair on his head. So I'm not so sure he does dye his hair.
