I know Kenneth has Indian blood. Maybe that's why his hair is still dark. Oral had a Cherokee mother i think, and his hair remained dark a long time. But nothing wrong with anyone dyeing their hair. I'd probably dye mine if my wife would let me but she won't.

I don't see anything wrong with a facelift either.

I'm not against a christian getting their hair dyed, a facelift or cosmetic surgery etc etc

What I struggle with is wealthy christian ministers telling people to change their circumstances or DNA by faith and then relying on their wealth to change their circumstances...what about the unwealthy Christians who cant afford cosmetic work

I know Joyce Meyer has blessed many people but she admitted she got a facelift and yet writes about being an overcomer and rejoicing in all situations. Couldn't she rejoice and overcome while her skin wrinkled and sagged.

Vast majority of believers do not have the wealth to change their circumstance and have to learn to rejoice and live with things.

I personally don't value the words of ministers who use wealth to make changes to their physical lives that the normal christian cant afford unless they are teaching scriptures that will bring freedom and blessing to those struggling

The only problem I see is if they claim that God changed or preserved them and they are lying and its surgery, hair dye and treatment, exercise/diet, hormone treatment etc. Some people have more money than others and they would tell you that their wealth and therefore surplus for things like that is Gods blessing.

These days you are sort of in the minority if you don't color your hair. I do mine every couple of years and then ask myself why I did it, as I don't like doing the retouches. The only thing that bothers me about face lifts is if they are too tight or poorly done. We have a lady on local tv who has her eyebrows half way between her eyes and her hairline. No one could look that way naturally.

I don't generally get up and say boy I'm glad I look so old today!

    Sorry for the detour!

I get that...but I also get that the truth is the truth despite our own personal shortcomings, doubts, imperfections...

The enemy has used that to try to attack my teaching from time to time..essentially saying I needed to have all that I teach first perfected in my own life. I discovered from the word of truth that we are to be transformed as we go...as we accept truth first by faith and then ACT on it and eventually see the fruit of it..

I know some do the 'do as I say and not as I do' and that is not acting on truth in faith...and it produces no growth and fruit in their lives even though it very well might in the hearer...so we must just listen to the word and Holy Spirit and discern truth for ourselves and not be all that focused on the messenger..

That would be lying about their own experience but not affect the truth of what is being said..

Truth is being restored to the body and has been being restored since the emergence from the dark ages when the scriptures were suppressed..imperfection of the messengers should not be our focus..

As a side note, I do not believe Dr. Leaf teaches or implies we can STOP the aging process...she teaches we can be the BEST SELF God called and designed each of us to be...

Kenneth Copeland taught years ago about Sarah and Abraham and how beautiful Sarah was even as an elderly woman and then gave birth...within that teaching was health and sustaining but not a ceasing from aging..Even Sarah said, "may I know pleasure in my old age?'
That process for Sarah and Abraham was for a designed purpose of God..just as He sustained Israel in the wilderness...

Some times there is some truth to it but it amounts to a half truth because they fail to specify that the beautiful dark brown hair is dyed, for instance. Then people get the impression that that is part of it or is supposed to be part of it.
