Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called,
and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Tim 6:12).
The only kind of fight we are called to fight is the fight of faith. That means if you are in any other kind of fight, you're really in the wrong fight.
In the fight of faith, you're not fighting for victory, you're really fighting from victory. Your victory comes from all that God has done for you in Christ.
You have been crucified, made alive, raised and seated together with Christ. Your fight of faith begins with the triumph of Christ, and it is your
confession and the tenacity with which you hold on to it that determines if you're going to win.
That means if you hold fast to your confession, it will determine the outcome of your battle. Your confession of faith can win more than a battle.
It can affect your destiny. In fact, your confession of faith in Christ is the one thing that will keep you out of hell and get you into heaven (Rom 10:9-10).
