I was just reading through Proverbs...
...and came across this scripture.
Proverbs 17
15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.
Pretty much sums up our government, news media, the left, etc, etc, etc. I take comfort in knowing it is an abomination to God and I don't think He'll let it alone.
MSG
15 Whitewashing bad people and throwing mud on good people are equally abhorrent to God.
NLT
15 Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— both are detestable to the Lord.
TPT
15 There is nothing God hates more than condemning the one who is innocent and acquitting the one who is guilty.
AMPC
15 He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both an abomination [exceedingly disgusting and hateful] to the Lord.

Exactly...yet the wicked don't know they are wicked. Many even think God is with them.

In the same manner...
Prov 20:10 "unjust weights and measures are an abomination to the Lord".

The hard part is having the Father's heart towards them instead of becoming like Job- "Why would I want to preach to these people, they are our enemies!"

Except in Pelosi's case (and many older liberals) are catholic and think they do God's will.

Jesus told the disciples that those that kill them will think they are doing God a service, just like Paul.

This one is hard sometimes too.
Proverbs 24:17-18
17 (A)Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
18 Lest the Lord see it, and [a]it displease Him,
And He turn away His wrath from him.

Along with:
"It (love) does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail."

It must be related to your attitude of heart - Are you gloating at their misfortune
There is a godly rejoicing that evil is defeated
Proverbs 10:11 - When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; And when the wicked perish, there is jubilation (NKJV)
(AMP) - When it goes well for the righteous, the city rejoices, And when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.

How do we apply this in terms of elections? I tend to rejoice when the liberals fail and stumble. I think I feel the need to repent.
