Ravens Fans Ends Kaepernick Last Chance At NFL Career

-The Baltimore Ravens were seriously considering signing Colin Kaepernick to backup starter Joe Flacco.

Their coach knows Colin from his days in San Francisco because his brother Jim Harbaugh coached him.

Rumors started flying and as soon as they hit the airwaves the people of Baltimore jumped into action to stop the madness.

According to Mike Silver of NFL Media, the Ravens executives were stunned at the hostile fan reaction to the news they were considering signing Colin Kaepernick.

They got thousands of messages from fans saying don't you dare sign that clown or something to that effect.

Most echoed one smart fan who gave Kaepernick the a 5 word brutal ending to his career: "We don't want Kaepernick here!"

This is not the first time.A few months ago, Giants co-owner John Mara floated the idea of signing Colin and was met with a massive backlash and he quickly backed down...

The guy just isn't any good any more. When you combine that with the controversy, and he's a backup QB and not a starter, it's not worth the drama and distraction he would cause on a team with the media always asking about his protests, to him and the other players. It would be nonstop due to the media.

You know, as much as I see and read the coverage on him, I haven't seen this particular story reported anywhere else unless I just missed it.

I don't think anyone wanted Kaepernick here, but his girlfriend pretty much sealed the "lack of deal" https://www.outkickthecoverage.com/c...wis-uncle-tom/

Whitlock on Pro-Kaepernick Rally: 'Smells Like a Shakedown' of NFL Owners

Fox Sports 1 host Jason Whitlock said it appears there is a "shakedown" of NFL owners by the progressive movement when it comes to Colin Kaepernick's continued unemployment.

A rally, supported by filmmaker Spike Lee, is planned for Aug. 23 outside the NFL headquarters in New York City.

Several civil rights groups are organizing the protest, accusing NFL owners of blackballing the free agent quarterback after he triggered a season-long controversy in 2016 by kneeling during the national anthem.

Whitlock said progressive ideology is now creeping into the NFL and professional sports on an unprecedented level.

"This, to me, is starting to smell like a shakedown of the NFL owners," said Whitlock, adding that owners are being accused of being racist for not signing Kaepernick.

He said Kaepernick is simply not good enough, similar to Tim Tebow a few years ago, and that's why no NFL team wants him on their roster. ...

...In an interview Tuesday, Giants owner John Mara denied there was any organized effort to "blackball" Kaepernick, calling the claims "crazy."

He also pointed out the deluge of messages from fans who were deeply offended by Kaepernick's lack of patriotism and threatened to boycott if he was on the team.

Whitlock said the former 49er is not good enough to justify the "controversy" that a team will face for having him on the team.

Tim Tebow was an excellent Quarterback. He was popular with the fans but the constant stir about his religion and kneeling in prayer kept the teams from signing him. He took the Broncos to the playoffs. Now a baseball player on a B team and doing great. He is a fantastic athlete.
