Does anyone recall the news interview that John Stossel did on a wrestler? He was investigating fakery when one guy turns on Stossell and cuffs his ears saying “fake?! Is this fake” and cuffs Stossell’s ears where it was reported he had damage to an eardrum. He shouldnt have said that.

Schultz was doing what in those days was protecting the business. Doc was a legit bounty hunter and believable. That got him fired. If Stossel hadnt been looking for money and headlines, Doc wouldnt have been thrown under the bus.
He got his answer didnt he?

Stossell stepped right into it. In my estimation he entirely and completely had it coming. This was rude and was treated in mind. I watched it and went “WHOA!!”.

Hey, putting in a plug for the movie “The Masked Saint”. If you like a good and true movie about wrestling back in the day, Chris Whaley’s story is worth the watch. I saw it on Daystar.

'Mean' Gene Okerlund dead at 76
-Legendary wrestling announcer "Mean" Gene Okerlund died at the age of 76, WWE confirmed Wednesday.
Okerlund was one of the most recognizable names in sports entertainment, with his career spanning the American Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment.
Okerlund rose to prominence interviewing stars such as Jesse "The Body" Ventura, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. He would conduct backstage and in-ring interviews as well as provide commentary at the broadcast table.
Ventura gave Okerlund the moniker "Mean Gene," though he was widely considered one of the friendliest people in the wrestling business.
Tributes began to pour in for Okerlund immediately after his death was announced.
