Thanks FB for that good analysis. I like what you said in red.. I guess that could also mean, "The Lions will need a miracle to make it to post season.
Believe it or not, God will do a miracle in a football game as He did for the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.

With Russell Wilson at the helm, the Seahawks came back in a miraculous chain of events that enabled them to defeat the Green Bay Packers in the 2015 NFC Championship game 28-22 that earned them a trip to the Superbowl. So, yes, I do believe God moved in that particular game to help the Seahawks to win. Could He do the same for the Lions? Since God is no respecter of persons (favoritism), maybe He is also no respecter of football teams. Yes, I understand putting up a personal guard to avoid disappointment. Especially if it has happened over and over. Well, I guess you (we) can take the Lions one game at a time and see how they do. They are getting extra needed rest due to playing on Thursday night. The dominant win against the Cowboys, 44-30 gave Dan Campbell and his team a "confidence booster" as they will travel to LA to play the Rams on 12-14.

Here is a 5 min clip of the Seahawks "miracle" win in the 2015 NFC Championship game over the Green Bay Packers.

A short analysis read by a writer on his comments in regard to the Falcon / Seahawks game airing here at 10:00am PST.

The Falcons best hope at winning in week fourteen (Seattle at Atlanta) lies in their rookies showing up and their passing game (can Kirk Cousins overachieve in the contest) returning to form.

I have absolutely NO interest in this game but I'm watching because that's what I do. lol.

Thankfully I have the Georgia Bulldogs to satisfy my taste for winning.

Not calling anything on your team. Offensive lineman protecting the QB literally grabbed Pearce and pulled him down and not called.

Seriously, I'm not one to complain about refs and hate it when others do, but this is getting ridiculous.

It was a close game being tied at 6-6 going into halftime. But the second half, the falcons could not execute. They fell too far behind as the game was coming to a close. Hopefully, any changes made in the off season, personnel, the draft, and free agency will help the team be more completive in 2026. Is next season Cousins last season at Alanta of the contract he signed? Boy, is he a money pit! Imagine how much cap would open up if your expensive back-up QB was off the team.

Yeah tale of two halves. Totally imploded in the second half. Here is Cousin's contract from Gemini:

Kirk Cousins signed a four-year, $180 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons in March 2024, which includes $90 million guaranteed at signing, a $50 million signing bonus, and a full no-trade clause. The deal includes $100 million in guarantees over the life of the contract, which are broken down into the 2024 and 2025 salaries, the 2026 roster bonus, and the signing bonus.

I was thinking we could let him go after two years though.
