I wonder which team the NFL journalists will choose as their little darling this year. The team they choose to win the SB will have a monkey on their back. I hope every one of them and the horse they rode in on will sleep on the Lions this year. The Lions are still intact and improving.

The Lions suffered injuries to key players in 2024. They will be coming back healthy. Detroit is a contender and has the probability to make a deep playoff run. Even though they had some coaches leave for other destinations, I'm sure the new coaches that Lion personnel hired to replace previous staff will be more than adequate to push Lion players to maximize their full potential.

I really hope GM John Schneider and HC Mike Macdonald will make the right decisions in the 2025 NLF draft. They have the opportunity to make our team a NFC West contender with the possibility of perhaps even to win our division. The Seattle Seahawks will pick 5 rookies with their first 92 picks.
First round 18
Second round 50, 52
Third round 82, 92
Forth round 137
Fifth round 172, 175
No sixth round pick.
Seventh round 223, 234
Total Picks 10
Priority:Offensive Line, Safety, Linebacker, Cornerback. I think Schneider / Macdonald should use their first 5 picks on these positions in this positional order.
Use the 4th round pick on a fullback (new OC Klint Kubiak likes to use a blocking fullback).
They could probably pick a quality receiver and tight end with both 5th round picks.
Use the last 2 picks for added depth at Schneider / Macdonald's discretion.
