Oh! I forgot about that. Well, I haven't seen the Seahawk 2025 schedule yet. If were playing the Lions again in the fall or early winter, maybe Sam Darnold will be able to redeem himself with a win over Detroit. Seattle was beat also last year by them Lions. So, the whole team needs to redeem themselves with a victory over FB's team.

    Take a number

Seattle OL better protect him because he can get rattled.

The Seahawks have the worst OL in the league in my opinion.
It's no secret that Seattle GM John Schneider has side-stepped building a truly great offensive line (continual, season after season).
He even said last year: "Offensive line men are overpaid."
They just gave Sam Darnold a 3 year $100.5 million dollar contract with $55 million guaranteed.
If Schneider still refuses to invest immediately in building a quality OL, you might as well throw Darnold's money out the window.
Ask Geno Smith how he fared in 2024 attempting to win games behind a lack-luster Seahawk OL.
He'd tell you: I got sacked 50 times and sacked 7 times in 2 games last year (Rams and Giants).
John Schneider can't laugh off the Seahawk O-line any longer.
If Seattle can't build a tough and smart OL starting now, it's going to be a long and brutal season for newly acquired QB, Sam Darnold. If a repeat of what happened to Geno in 2024 also happens to Darnold, Seahawk owner, Jody Allen will have to sack John Schneider and send him packing.

I got a feeling Sam Darnold could be doomed to even worse protection than Geno Smith had last season.
The only O-line free agent Schneider has signed is Josh Jones to a 1 year deal.
Jones was a 3rd round pick in 2020.
During his 5years in the NLF, jones has appeared in 76 games with 24 starts. That is not very impressive.
Looks like GM John Schneider will be looking to the draft for offensive linemen.
And by the way, he hasn't done all that well with those types of selections either.

How about that! Cooper Kupp is coming home to end his career as a Seahawk (35 at end 3 yr deal). Cooper is from Yakima, WA and went to Eastern Washinton College. If Seattle can pick up 2 guards, maybe a center, and a receiver in the draft, that will leave them with an additional 6 picks out of their total 10 picks that they have. We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. Draft day which will be in Green Bay on April 25th to 27th. Who knows, the Seahawks are on a roll. If they can take advantage of picking quality talented athletes coming out of the 2025 NLF draft, we could possibly make the playoffs next winter.

I believe in miracles, but in this case, you'd have to categorize me as a "doubting Thomas."
