We all know Dallas owner; Jerry Jones has his paws all over the Cowboys. Just about any pick or trade, must be approved by him. But he plays the "blame game," it's everyone else's fault (not his) when loses occur, regular and playoff games included. Ask all the head coaches he's fired over the years.
Fuego, how long has Aurther Blank owned the Falcons? Would you say he is a meddler in team affairs? Has he contributed to the Falcons unstable and loosing of games, past and present? What is the root problem with the team? Coaches, ownership, daft picks, free agency? Many fans here put the blame on Pete Carroll. But that's not the case anymore. Petes gone. In my book, John Schnieder was at equal blame as much as everyone liked to "throw Pete under the bus." I've been thinking lately since the Seahawks have only won 1 game in the last 6 outings. What if Schnieder was fired and coach Carroll was here this season working alongside a new general manager? I guess I'll never know the answer to that question.

Anyone know if Doug Pederson is still the Jags HC?

We ALL knew that was coming
We lost our lead LB Anzalone with a broken forearm. He'll be back but is expected to be out the remainder of regular season.
Pretty sure the Jags HC job isn't any more secure after that TD-less whumpin'.

I guess your hinting that Anzalone will be back in time for post season action?
Oh, by the way I just took a peak at the SEA and SF game. 49ers lead 17- 13 with 2:45 left in the game.

Seahawks win it in final 40 seconds of the game. Geno Smith runs it in for the touchdown and wins this one. They beat SF for the 1st time in 3 years SEA 20 SF 17.

Celebrate that. Initial reports show Anzalone could return for post season play...as could Hutch.

That's good news.
It was originally estimated that Adian Hutchinson would be likely out for the season, and a minimal time of 4-6 months.
But as of late, Hutchinson has been making very good progress in his rehabbing process.
Aidan is bearing some weight in a rehab pool on the surgically repaired leg only after four weeks since the injury happened against the Dallas Cowboys.
There is new speculation that Hutchinson may make it back to the field late in the post season.
There have also been multiple reports that the gritty LB could be in a position to make it back in time to play in Superbowl 59.
Of course, that is if the Lion's advance to the NLF championship game. In my opinion, I think they will.
And most likely will face the Kansas City Chiefs on February 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Regardless, due to the serious nature of the fracture (both the tibia and fibula) it would be short of a miracle if Adian see's the football field again this season.
In other Detroit linebacker news, Alex Anzalone said he knew immediately that his arm was broken.
The nature of the break, estimates the Lion's other talented LB will be out 6-8 weeks.
There is also the possibility that Anzalone may be ready to play in late post season, or in Superbowl 59 if the Lion's will be traveling to Paradise, NV in early February.
In the meantime, during Alex Anzalone's absence, Malcolm Rodriguez will have to "step up" and play tough Lion football.
Finally, I will say to FB, I am a Lions fan also, and I hope they win the SB and bring home the Lombardi Trophy. Go Lion's!

Just nabbed Linebacker David Long Jr from Miami. Add to our depth a little bit.

That was one tough and gritty W yesterday. We lost an edge, a D lineman and a Linebacker. This makes a total of 10 starters out for injury and out of the lineup. So when 44 Rodriguez went down with ACL, Holmes was on the horn signing replacements for LB and Edge. Breathing a sigh of relief that our Offense is intact.
Now, for that rest. Next up is Green Bay at home on Thursday.

Green Bay should be a good test to evaluate the current defense because of the number of Detroit staters who are out due to injuries.
