    I like those Lions' helmets.

That was a good game. Exciting to the end. Both teams are now 3-1.

    Scored big in this one.

Congratulations to Dan Campbell and to the Detroit Lions victory over the Seattle Seahawks 42-29.
The Lions running game, Jared Goff's break out game, and Detroit's defensive scheme was overwhelming against Seattle.
It was not as close as I thought it would be. There were times I thought the Lions might blow out the Seahawks. There was also a lot of penalties called on both teams.
The Lions looked great because they are a great team.

Goff set an NFL record by throwing a perfect game going 18 for 18 in passing. And a reception for a TD. The Lions are playing up to expectations and now will sit out a week and get ready to visit Dallas.

Jared Goff finished with 299 passing yards. He never threw an incomplete pass. Detroit's rushing attack produced 116 yards on the ground.
They came into this game with a great plan offensively. The Lion's offensive line is a complete line. They protected Goff well and opened up holes in their rushing attack. The Lions obviously executed their plays better than the Seahawks.

The Seahawks defensive front had a poor outing. Simply stated, the lion's OL out played them, and kept them at bay.
The Seahawks weren't good enough on Monday night, and the result was their first loss of the season.

Seattle must take the loss with their chin up, learn and grow from this game, and prepare to face the NY Giants next Sunday.

NY Giants will be a near pushover.

When we played the Giants last year, Danial Jones was sacked 11 times by the Seahawks defense.
Devon Witherspoon had a 97 yard pick six score also. We beat NY 24-3 last season in the Big Apple.
Seattle is back at home field for this contest on Sunday.
Given what the Lions did on Monday night to the Seahawks, past wins (against any team) doesn't matter.
Hopefully, the Seahawks recover from their first loss of the season and get the win this coming weekend.
