... and that system dropped down on us along with another large system right behind it. The result was a lot of thunderstorms with high damaging winds. So on the hottest day of the year a whole bunch of people lost power and they are so overwhelmed some folk might not get it back until Wednesday.
I'm very grateful I never lost power, this is what the DTE outage map looks like for Metro Detroit:

It’s been a wet year for you folks down there. That storm swung south of us and we got a sprinkle and high winds across the straits. Today, sunny and 75, the stuff summers are made of.

Last day of July and it feels like late September. Very blustery, cloudy and a cool 61deg in downtown Larks Lake.

For the past 2 weeks we have had perfect weather. Everyday 75deg, sunny and decent humidity. A few more weeks and it’s all done with, autumn shift in full swing. Me and the buds are scouting and seeing huge bucks.

After a couple of weeks of temps barely reaching 70 we've suddenly entered into a heat wave. The last two days have been in the high 80s with uncomfortably high humidity. Lots of rain and thunderstorms currently taking place.

I was in the south (TN & La.) all of last week and it was miserable. I just don’t care for the heavy humidity but I realize you guys like it
