Sad for us. Great for him and reconnected with his wife and an infant daughter from the obituary. Did we know that? Gone to his reward. Seriously going to miss him knowing he won't be back. And him and krystian get to meet too. :)

Do this, and if you are not a wicked man, and a stranger to God, you will soon have as much of the spirit of prayer as your body can sustain. -Charles Finney 'The Spirit of Prayer' from 'Lectures On Revivals of Religion'

I'll miss him. We use to chat on Facebook. He use to lament about the state of the church, namely the Pentecostals and how he didn't like this new modern style lol.

He was like a grumpy old grandpa that people sometimes misunderstood simply because he was from that older generation that was "rudely blunt but easily understood". It reminded me of older people I came up around, old church mothers who didn't mind rebuking the saints

He was in a nursing home and in a lot of physical pain and grief. I'm happy for him.

I'll miss him too. I didn't realize he was from the Open Bible denomination. We attended an Open Bible church for several years. They're good people. I always thought he was AofG.

I believe he did tell us about the baby girl and that his wife never completely recovered from the loss.

    I knew about it ...

He was an instructor at Jimmy Swaggart's Bible college at one time when JS with the AG. It seems like he left when everything went down.
