Trump's 'Racist' Tweets
This is just an observation from watching all these news stories on the 'racist' tweets Trump has made in the last few day. In case you missed it, this is what he said:
"So interesting to see 'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."
This is how the left and news media control the narrative. First of all, there is NOTHING inherently racist about those tweets and I know millions of people agree with him, and they aren't racist either. Yet CNN and media headlines include the word racist, which makes those headlines editorial, and not objective news reporting. At most it should be, 'Trump denies tweets are racist'. One headline actually reads: "Trump denies racist tweets were racist". And that's a NEWS STORY headline, not an opinion piece!
Anyway, just Google 'Trumps racist tweets' to find many examples.
Trump denies racist tweets were racist
On Sunday, the President used racist language...

Just too add, here is a screenshot of some of the 'hysteria'. Renew impeachment because of the tweets? Crazy.

I concur with the President's tweets. How many million other patriots would also. Maybe someone should send around a petition showing support for the president's sentiments.

He already knows that his sentiment is shared with most of America. The dems are still stuck on old technology, thinking the mainstream media still has influence.

The tweets could be seen as anti-immigrant. Meaning that that is the dividing line rather than white, black, latino, asian etc.

But they're using the word 'racist'. I can see how anti-immigrant could be seen, but still don't think it is. He's not against immigration.

They use the term racist in a wider sense than the classical one. Someone who targets groups with a broad brush and looks down on them, irrespective of what they are doing or have done on an individual basis. Recent-ish immigrants vs established Americans. Which can be latinos vs white+black, that was my impression from hanging around a middle class hotel in Florida last year.

Yeah, but those using it are using in the specific sense. They really aren't interested in the nuances of the word 'racism'.

What I find laughable about the recent tweets is the suggestion that immigrants who
criticize the United States:
a) Don't love the United States, and
b) Should go back to their nation of origin.
Recall that prior to the 2016 election, Trump constantly complained about the state
of our nation. By his own reasoning then, he, himself, didn't love America and
should have gone back to Germany!!
Of course, that's not how it works. Anyone who is a citizen of this nation has a right
to criticize its policies and advocate for change through the media and through the
political process. That's Democracy 101.
