    Idol Worship

Is there a similarity between tribal idol worship and American idol worship?
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

Greed is idolatry. Being fascinated with things of this world. The craze over the fad micro-brewry’s. Must have the latest software. Standing in line patiently waiting to watch the blockbuster offering from Hollywood. Collecting, hoarding, amassing anything that others want to own but you have it and wont sell it.

Is this what Jesus died for? How can we be Disciples? Instead, we attend the biggest (surely the best) church in town to hear the latest and cutting edge “preacher” give a talk on how to be a better person.

How can we possibly live for Him if we have not died in Him?
