BWAAAHahahah I love it. This made me happy this morning especially since I brought this up in our little rural comfy church. I told them we of the New Creation cannot biblically call yourself a sinner. We now sin by choice, we choose to sin. And then comes the backlash where they taunt "you are saying we dont sin anymore". Who said?? We have 1Jn1:9 for the times we do sin. Problem is (and RevKev pointed this out long ago) is our definition of sin. This is a major identity crisis in the Church and an unbiblical, false teaching in and of itself. If you have an intimate face to face walk with Jesus, you wont have a problem with this or walking in sin.

Absolutely! We were born with a sin nature. It was NATURAL for us to sin. When we are re-born we are given the nature of Christ and become a brand new creation. Now it is UN-NATURAL for us to sin. Our free will wasn't removed, we can still choose to sin.
Our old self gets buried along with all our past sins. The saint that is raised up with Christ in newness does not want to sin.
That is the message I tried to convey in my new song a couple months ago: Goodbye Old Friend
The trouble can also be perptuated by those that have the form of godliness but never experience the born-again, New Creation. That better explains the lack of biblical understanding on this. It isnt just some following a teaching from their denomination but also when they are unconverted, unsaved. The natural mind cant receive it, nor can it understand it.

Ran into that just this winter too. Someone didn't receive the HS Baptism, and then after getting to know them a while I was thinking that they hadn't really been born again, and then a few weeks later they started talking about getting an abortion and to me that confirmed it. Their religious background as a Babdist didn't help them out much. There must be a death, burial and resurrection or you just become a carnal person with an empty form of religion. No change from sinner to saint.
What would be the area of his "false teaching"? I hear bits and pieces of his Youtubes, but not long enough to get a feel.
They just need a discrepancy in relation to the beliefs of their own group. Which could amount to anything, including Søndergaard being a non-Calvinist for instance. They also exaggerate things in order to place people in categories that they don't really belong in. Some times it amounts to outright lies, whether they realize that themselves or they don't.
