When I hear folks talking about how scientists have discovered that bacon or eggs or any other good farm fresh stuff is bad for us, I tell them "I have known a lot more old farmers than I have old scientists."
It's like that whole "gluten" thing...
People have been eating it for literally thousands of years, yet now, all of a sudden it's not good.

I was talking with a friend about this. He is always studying about such things. He told me that the gluten problem is because of all the genetic engineering that has gone on. These plants are not the way God designed them. Man has decided that he needs to help God make a better wheat design. And what happens when we pervert something that God has lovingly created? Nothing good!
I was a nay-sayer on the gluten thing until going keto-ish. I don't know if it's carbs or the way they engineer high carb foods that causes sluggishness, etc. but after taking them out of my meals the energy level has at least doubled. I call out processed foods in general to be suspect.
