    Not really, it's something that he actually agrees with me when I'm right. I've certainly met posters that have been of a different persuasion !

    True...it sounds a lot like God's word regarding the true fast.....so it is a FACT this was not the problem with Job although it is still true...

    and lift up your hands to him in prayer!
    14 Get rid of your sins,
    and leave all iniquity behind you.
    15 Then your face will brighten with innocence.
    You will be strong and free of fear.
    16 You will forget your misery;
    it will be like water flowing away.
    17 Your life will be brighter than the noonday.
    Even darkness will be as bright as morning.
    18 Having hope will give you courage.
    You will be protected and will rest in safety.
    19 You will lie down unafraid,
    and many will look to you for help.
    As I read this I thought of the song Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.. and the scripture, submit to God and resist the devil...

    When we focus on who HE is genuine faith arises as we see His great love and power...and sometimes even if the situation does not change it no longer cripples us. As God's Bigness becomes apparent our mountains shrink to molehills in His shadow.

It could be Elihu or God which makes it "words from the Lord". Or it could be Job or his three friends which makes it the words of men, meaning it could amount to anything.
    I agree...clarifying the speaker and context is a primary safety mechanism to avoid error...
