    Job 11:13-19 NLT

    Just sayin'. :)
    ___________

13 "If only you would prepare your heart
and lift up your hands to him in prayer!
14 Get rid of your sins,
and leave all iniquity behind you.
15 Then your face will brighten with innocence.
You will be strong and free of fear.
    16 You will forget your misery;
it will be like water flowing away.
17 Your life will be brighter than the noonday.
Even darkness will be as bright as morning.
18 Having hope will give you courage.
You will be protected and will rest in safety.
19 You will lie down unafraid,
and many will look to you for help.

Amazing the revelation of the Lord back in the OT. Good word, timely word.

That's Zophar, one of Job's friends speaking. That excerpt sounds good but he was among those God rebuked for his words without wisdom at the end of the book :

Job 42:7 And so it was, after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.
8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the Lord commanded them; for the Lord had accepted Job.

In case you think Zophar said something wrong towards the end of the book - he did not. His words are only recorded in two chapters : 11 and 20.

That sounds like you are trying to stage a fight or something. I'm merely pointing out what the book of Job says about itself, which gives context to chapter 11.

It’s a great word. So that leads me to believe that if he was rebuked for it then he might have been wrong using it toward Job. But the general word is scriptural.

That's possible. It could even be that Zophar's problem was that he rebuked Job without having sufficient grounds for rebuking him. Passages from the other friends of Job are easier to criticize though so it's always a good idea to specify who is being quoted when quoting the book of Job. It could be Elihu or God which makes it "words from the Lord". Or it could be Job or his three friends which makes it the words of men, meaning it could amount to anything.
