One thing that isnt being factored in with this continual flood of “breakthrough” prophecies is the deception of current and rising Preterism that declares the earth/culture is getting better and better. It’s a house of cards on the back porch in a windstorm. They must prophecy better and better to further their doctrinal perspective.

If we look at reality then things are clearly going both ways. Some things are getting better, some things are getting worse. Revival is happening in some places, in some places it's not. We need the Word and to act on the Word more than we need hyper-positive or hyper-negative prophecies. Some times the prophets on each side try to outdo each other just to "cancel out" the other side but this one was so blatant that it amounted to a somewhat comical relief. Even though he was basically being serious.

Good point...the Preterism position would certainly influence the thinking that Jesus returns to a godly earth

I heard so many years of those kinds of prophecies and the getting world getting better and better....one day I woke up and realized the world society wasn't all rosey and was getting worse.

Historicity is how they reason their eschatology. Taking world and cultural examples to show the doubters that this world is improving. They believe Jesus already returned in AD 90 in the destruction of Jerusalem.
