People who see nothing wrong with disrespecting the flag and the national anthem have suddenly found patriotism?

People who are now openly preaching socialism which is antithetical to any thing the founding fathers envisiuoned have suddenly become patriots

When Barack Obama was caught on hot mic making a deal with Putin with Medyved as emissary where were all these patriots ?
Where were all these patriots when Obama was shipping cash to Iran who promptly returned the favor by chanting death to America and were responsible for thousands of American deaths in Iraq ?

It seems that by his own conception, James Comey is St. James, heavenly protector of patriotism and principle. Which is only to say, few men in American history have possessed as thoroughly a misguided self-awareness as our former FBI director.

As we now know, the erstwhile hero of the Trump Resistance had both mismanaged and misappropriated his power in ways that may have irreparably undermined the reputation of the most powerful enforcement agency in the United States.

My impression is that Trump is trying to make a deal with Russia. It's what he does. That's why he isn't immediately smacking Putin on the nose. It's called diplomacy and it used to be the most important thing for us to display on the world stage. The Democratic party and the establishment Republican party does not want a friendlier relationship with Russia, not because they think that Putin is such a bad guy, because, "hello! The 80's called and want their foreign policy back" Obviously, they were fine with Putin prior to Trump's election. They were even fine with Russia tampering with the election, President Obama just told them to "cut it out."

They MUST make sure that Trump is not successful or they will have another Reagan on their hands with a landslide in 2020 with more populist candidates coming out of the woodwork. It is not in their own interest for Trump, and by extension, America to do better. That is why they keep hitting him with red herring after red herring!
