With the very dry summer the real estate values on shoreline have increased.

Our friend that was raised here said he has never seen the lake levels so low. Each day and week the receding is measureable.

The trailcam season has begun. We have several apple trees, one that is near the road across from my trail to the stand. There is a mature buck that has been snacking on apples so let’s see if I can get him on cam.

The mighty national symbol and bird of the United States of America flying circles at treetop level over the front yard just now.

See that crow on my front yard? I have a blast with it. The elec utility repair crew (8) had one guy up in the bucket on our service and he looks down and said he couldnt figure out why it wasnt moving. I hollered up saying "it's a decoy, it wont move, I put it there to fool city folk". All the guys started laughing. The guy says "well I'm not a city guy and it fooled me".

That decoy is just a hoot. All 3 neighboring homes are downstate city folk but one house is AirB&B and you know they aint country. One woman strolls down the country lane and she kept stopping, turning and staring at it. I mean, she couldnt just let it go and walk on. Well, she comes back with a gray muzzled mutt that promptly went out to see that "crow". Amazing how neither could figure it out.

There was a prophecy released by John Kilpatrick (if I recall) that declared a releasing of God’s Eagles into their areas of ministry. Of course, being new to northern Emmet I received that word right away. What I didnt expect was seeing one or multiple eagles every day for 7 (perfection, completion, full-filment). After that it would be typical to see one every month or three.
