Even worse, some, because they are admins in Facebook groups, are getting punished for posts by someone else due to content. Facebook is really becoming a bunch of tyrants.

However, I sympathize with you in the fact that switching over is never easy, especially if few to none of your friends follow you to the new and less dictatorial platform. And, if you are like me and you have a couple of ministry pages where you have already built up followers (though FB makes you pay money to make sure your "followers" see your content) then the difficulty increases. It is more convenient to stya where you are despite the possible mistreatment.

Apparently I was not clear in my post...I did not say the loss of privacy was a good thing...OR the loss of our rights....I said the knowledge that it has been lost is....I suspect some think closing that door is going to somehow gather it all back into some secure bubble..it's gone....on servers no doubt world wide....

As I shared in a FB post, liberals don't want compromise, they want more ground on our rights...and they have been able to move that ball down the field for many years. I am not shocked by the sharing and loss of data...I am relieved to know that many are waking up to this fact...

Switching will be hard but my question is will switching change anything? Everything everyone has ever posted on FB is shared info....shared info on family, locations, personal thoughts ideas personalities, beliefs....all of it...gone. For many they know the location of all their family, their birthdays, where they go to school or participate in sports...unless someone is going to change ALL of that and get totally off the grid it's GONE....

So it's not that closing that door is not a major thing....I just think it is important we digest the magnitude that everything about us that we have even posted has been shared already.....there is no taking it back and that knowledge, what has been shared, is empowering....

I also decided to visit Minds.com yesterday since I created an account there a month ago. They have way less restrictions than Facebook, buuuuuuuttttt, one of the first things I noticed is that people are allowed to post PORN, something the FB (as far as I know) forbids. In order to look at the porn you have to click on something saying that you over 18 but how many honest kids who want to look at porn on social media are going to deny that they are under that age?

Not sure at all that I will be recommending Minds.com
VW...why do you think in the past year FB has suddenly gone back so far, and YouTube? It is very important, IMHO, to realize this is not just dictatorial software designers....the rogue deep state is calling the shots.....so while we are seeking out secure alternatives, a good idea, they are deflecting....

What is more important than FB censoring and You tube censoring is to focus our attention on the nasty man behind the curtain....

This is like the guy with the gun throwing a rock to distract us while the shooter kills us...

Data has a shelf life. That's not to say that what they have will ever go way, that will probably never happen but old data is just not as valuable as current data. Take away the value (freshness) and it becomes less attractive for them to collect and store.

Diamond and Silk not Terrorism: Zuckerberg admits error in handling Conservative pages.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted Wednesday, in his second day of Congressional testimony, that his company's decision to flag and reject content from some conservative pages was a mistake.

Two sisters, Diamond and Silk – made famous for supporting President Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign – have amassed more than 1 million followers for their pro-Trump videos. The pair has appeared multiple times on FOX Business, but their content was flagged by the social media site last year as "unsafe to the community."

"In that specific case our team made an enforcement error and we have already gotten in touch with them to reverse it," he said.

While Zuckerberg tried to explain later in the hearing that Facebook works to proactively remove some harmful content, like terrorist material, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., fired back saying "Diamond and Silk [are] not terrorism."

I think Zuckerberg and others in these kind of positions should be heavily fined when they violate the First Admendment Rights of those using their Social Media Service. I see a lot of cussing, I see folks posting sexual images, and calling people names, yet there are no sanctions against these clowns.

He’s still culpable. He’s the head honcho in charge and he needs to rein in or fire those that don’t comply with ethical standards. The “man behind the curtain” won’t be the one getting sued or punished. It will be the leader. Like Achan and his family. Joshua 7

Sheila Jackson is a low level thug who needs her behind tanned. She's the bully that got a passenger removed from a first class seat so she could have it. The longer I watched the video, the angrier I got. I can't stand her.
