What do you mean 'in this particular case'? El Shaddai means what it means. And it clearly cannot be translated as 'all mighty breasty one' in any case and be accurate as to what the word means. Unless I am misunderstanding what you're saying.

It just means that in other discussions on the meaning of the Bible it isn't necessarily that clear what things mean and then people tend to choose what things mean according to their preferences.

Any attempts to link God to being female in His deity as Abba Father is blasphemous.
Satanic groups use the Baphomet statue which is a perverted image with breasts and duel sexual organs (male and female) in their devil worship.
Satan is so twisted and perverted that he will use any means including religious groups and denominations to portray God other than what He really is;
The Everlasting God, Eternal God- EL-Olam; God Most High-EL Elyon; God Almighty- EL-Shaddai.
God's names in the original Hebrew text reveal deeper insights into His nature and character. Such groups that attempt to distort and twist the meaning of His Names are doing so because they are being influenced by demons. It is absolutely disgusting and grieves my heart when such an attack of evil words is launched upon my holy God. Unless these certain individuals and godless groups desist in there attempt to discredit our heavenly Father, and get saved, they are headed to the same eternal doom and torment that satan and his angels are going too.
I like what Dr. Brown said at the link provided in the OP that the Hebrew EL Shaddi, often translated "God Almighty," may literally be translated "God, the Mountain One."Like the mountains themselves, God is seen as strong and unchanging. EL Shaddai reveals God not only as the one who creates and maintains the universe but who initiates and maintains a new covenant with His people.
God being referenced to as the Mountain One, reminds me that the The Lord is my Rock-Yahweh Tsuri.
Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war
and my fingers for battle (Psm 144:1). When I am shaken, you steady me. When I am in trouble, you save me. Amen.
He is a Dwelling Place, Refuge, Shield, Fortress, Strong Tower; Maon, Machseh, Magen, Metsuda, Migdal-Oz.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I trust."(Psm 91:1-2). Thank you You're with me in trouble and watch over me in danger. I will sing You're praises, my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Amen.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

It doesn't surprise me that satan has twisted the word to make it appear that El Shaddai means god of many breasts. He loves to put in a bit of poison and mix it in so the church will drink it
Glad Dr. Brown has written this article but you will find other believers who did not accept El Shaddai meaning many breasted one.
It seems legitimate and even scriptural but it needed to be exposed as deception.
The pagans worshipped the fertility goddess with many breasts and she looked ugly

I think because the root word 'shad' mean breasts, it just implies sustenance. God is our sustenance, our nourisher. What's so wrong about that? I have no problem with the term, "Breasted One"...Christians get overly emotional on the smallest things. Straining at a gnat while swallowing a camel. If sinners want to pervert the meaning, so what? That's what they do. We shouldn't get in a tizzy over it. smh

No one is getting emotional or in a tizzy.
A pentecostal with a PHD and expert in languages has shown the error so we should listen. Others who understand languages also agree with him. Words matter and we should want to be as accurate as possible. We all know God is our provider and sustenance but we don't have to accept when words are mistranslated.
You voice what the Word teaches and quote the Greek in other discussions to make a point yet when you don't agree you judge by using the scripture straining gnats

I always thought of "many breasted one" in terms of an animal being capable of feeding a huge number of puppies all at the same time. Like with Romulus and Remus :
I don't find that blasphemous if used as a picture of God as a sustainer of all his people. That doesn't imply that that is what El Shaddai means of course.

The fertility goddess is worshipped across different cultures and would of been in direct opposition to the Israelites when they entered Canaan.
The pagans had this goddess as their provider and nourisher but the Israelites had the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as their source.
If we use the many breasted goddess to make a spiritual comparison about the real God then we can use Zeus, Krishna or any other pagan god to make similar points....but is that wise and scriptural

When Israel rejected God they embraced the false queen of heaven and they believed she provided and gave them sustenance
Jeremiah 44:17 - But we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, were well-off, and saw no trouble.
Jeremiah 44:18 - But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.
