Unfortunately most fall into the former camp, believing judgment is being executed or more commonly have a "Let Gods will be done" and even more commonly simply submit to the fear mentality, lose any sense of who they are in Christ (as if they ever knew). For those of us that take authority and rebuke the wind and waves, command them to be still in the name of Jesus Christ, we are somewhat in an "Elijah vs. the prophets of Baal" situation.
I rebuke that filthy, demonically inspired hurricane in the name of Jesus Christ.
I think I am in a third group...I don't view the hurricane as a judgement or a demonically inspired event....I view it as a natural event that threatens the life and property of believers...
I just think it's NOT likely that no one rebuked Harvey .....or that none of them were men an women of God with strong faith...

Commanding a hurricane to move is about the same as commanding a mountain to move. Which man or woman of God did you have in mind that has that kind of faith ?

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Well, the thief comes to rob, kill, destroy. So no, these perverted weather events are not "natural".

Mustard seed faith is the only requisite.

None...I was speaking to the fact that it hit despite whoever rebuked it...so something is wrong...the theology? No faith? Too little faith? I really don't think as John did..that no one rebuked it....there are too me WOF people in the US to believe the only reason Harvey hit was NO ONE rebuked it...

How can they do that without having that faith or without the gift of faith producing that in them for that occasion ? But they can pray to God, that is different to exercising authority in faith.

Marco Polo recorded such an incident in his diary on how God moved a mountain for them in Baghdad. There was a Caliph there and the Muslim's hated the Christians. The imams found a scripture in the Gospel that if they had faith as a grain of mustard seed a mountain could be moved.
The Caliph gathered all the Christians in that certain vicinity and asked them if this scripture was true? The believers answered yes! The Muslims then showed them a literal mountain and said if they did not move it, we will kill you all. The Christians were perplexed and bewildered, but they put their hope and trust in God. They gathered together to pray for eight days and eight nights.
God revealed in a vision that a cobbler was the answer to their pray. He would pray to God for this miracle to happen. On the appointed day, the Christians and the cobbler arrived at the mountain. The Caliph and the Saracens were there also armed and waiting. The cobbler threw himself on his knees and prayed. The mountain rose out of it's place and moved to the spot which the Caliph had demanded. Instead of the Christians being slaughtered that day, they were spared because God moved a mountain.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

Sounds like a medieval fairy tale.
