Any thoughts from you Gurus and Geeks? Think this might get some of the Windows Holdovers to go Linux?

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Excellent find VW
I downloaded that and installed it into a virtual machine. You can pick your windows version,
It's also a very efficient distribution, it would run very well on older computers.

Finally installed this on an old laptop. It does have a very good Windows look but it certainly is not Windows and is very limited as far as software applications. May wipe it and switch over to Zorin OS.

I just put this on a PC... Highly recommend it.

I agree with your opinion on the windows look alike. It looks like windows BUT getting stuff to run took much command line.
Ubuntu Mate was a breeze from install to running, I actually turned off my other linux machine and am using it now. It's light weight enough to run on older machines.

Thanks John. I did look at the page. I guess Ubuntu is branching off into several new distributions. I think when I was first experimenting with Linux way back when and it was the newest, hottest distribution. Now you have all kinds of variations of it.
