WHAT "buffer zone?" There's no buffer zone. Either your sin is atoned for by Christ or it isn't. Our "relationship" is based on the blood atonement for our sins. Without that, there is no relationship. And the blood as the basis for our relationship never changes. It is ALWAYS the only way to peace with God.

You sort of remind me of "The Price is Right." Every so often a contestant will miss the right price by just one dollar. The audience hollers, "Give it to her anyway!" But of course they don't give it to her anyway. So too, God is not going to "give it to us anyway" for any other reason than the blood. None. Zero. Nada. Zilch. If the sin you just committed isn't under the blood and you die in the next few minutes, you're either bound for hell (because of undealt with sin) or you're in heaven because the blood of Christ was sufficient for that sin as well as all your previous sins.

Well, for the sake of argument, let's assume there IS a buffer zone. On what basis does that buffer zone exist? Again, there is only one answer. The blood of Christ. So it seems to me if you believe erroneously in some sort of buffer zone, you're acknowledging the forgiveness of at least some future sins (until the buffer zone expires). So to believe in a buffer zone, you're acknowledging that the blood does indeed cover [some] future sins. But once you've acknowledged that, then you can see that a fully sufficient salvation covers all the future sins of a truly born again believer. If you're not acknowledging that, then I want to know on what basis this buffer zone exists. Can you give me Scripture references for a buffer zone?

    Buffer Zone

    1. When a person is saved their new born spirit is holy and perfect...
    2. their soul is saved by the new relationship..but not changed.
    3. Thus begins the relationship with Holy Spirit leading us by the spirit to take control..into being changed...
    4. He does not wave a wand of perfection over us so daily we learn to die...through learning to walk in obedience.
    5. GRACE provides a buffer zone for that process of unlearning and relearning which also means we still sin where the soul is not changed. but are progression toward Christlikeness and fruit of the Spirit...in the buffer zone we receive correction and conviction and we acknowledge the sin and need for change and agree with holy Spirit to work that change in us, in our thinking, our believing...The relationship that leads us to transformation..relationship that protects us from going to Hell if we die after telling a lie...
    6. If, in that buffer we reject conviction and correction, refusing to acknowledge and repent but rather excuse...our relationship intended to lead us to transformation is not working...we are the cheating lying spouse pretending we have a good marriage...
    7. At some point the cheating lying spouse has left the relationship...and opts for divorce rather than change...thus the decision to exit the relationship and the buffer zone of grace..

See my post above. On what basis do we receive this "grace" provided buffer zone? Is it not the blood of Christ? If yes, then you're acknowledging that future sins are indeed forgiven in this "buffer zone."

The "continue in his goodness, otherwise you will also be cut off" buffer zone. Romans 11:22

The relationship starts with and continues with faith. "You stand by faith. Do not be haughty but fear". Romans 11:20

The relationship starts with the blood of Christ. There is no relationship apart from the blood. It's the basis of our faith. No blood, no forgiveness of sins, no relationship. God will not forgive sin apart from the blood.

Noone is saved without personal faith.

True. But faith in what exactly? Is it not faith in the blood of Christ to atone for our sin?
