Bird poop...undigested seeds. Like Curly I sometimes get some weeds but then there have been times like this year where I got an unexpected surprise...a clump of black eyed susans that I didn't plant. :)

Just last week I was watching as a blue jay was pecking away at the spent flowers, and the little finches love them too. Here are some other flowers that the birds love for their seeds:

Yep, Krys is right. We used to live next door to an avid fan of feeding birds....

I don't seem to have that issue. Maybe they are pooping at Krys' place.

Ever notice all the weeds along country road sides underneath the power lines? Birds. I love birds and would love to feed them, but just don't need the mess, as we have a very small yard.

LOL...its not a big issue for me at all. The previous owner of my house had even built a birdhouse complex similar to the right side of this pic...I have 3 of those on an elaborate pole set-up in my yard:

    Purple Martin bird houses

No purple martins, all the residents are sparrows.

But I do think about getting a bat house one day...Walmart even has a good selection:

I tried to find a picture Rog took of a skunk in our yard with his head stuck in a bright yellow plastic watering can, but couldn't.

Picture taken, he was then brave enough to give the watering can a gentle tug.

It came off and the skunk just ran away, didn't spray.
