    Why pigs are so important to China

    CHINA has a seemingly insatiable appetite for pork. More than half of all the pigs in the entire world live there. Why are pigs so important to China?

    China owns Smithfield Foods? So even if we buy pork that is raised right here in the USA the profit actually goes to China. That really makes me mad.
