Hey TT, have you ever seen those exposes on hotel rooms? Those stains they find on bedspreads or the occasional bed bugs and such they find? While I do put shoes in a separate plastic bag, when I'm on my way home I will pack my worn clothes with my clean clothes because as soon as I get home I wash EVERYTHING as I don't want to bring any hitchhikers home with me.

I have a compartment on the outside of my luggage that I put my shoes in....dirty clothes go in a plastic bag for me as well.

Have seen those reports before and it makes me squeamish

I use my trusty method......always pray and sanctify the room from demons and germs

I even wear shoes to church!!! Of course, I wear plastic bags over the shoes just in case they come in contact with the dirty carpet.

I have seen those hotel exposes. It would make me think twice about staying in one. I never sit on bedspreads in hotels and hate to even sit on upholstered furniture. I haven't stayed in a hotel in 14 years. When we went to Alaska in Aug., we stayed at my sister's house.

Dd and her family always vacation and have not encountered any bed bugs.

I guess I'm just not that fussy and I don't have time to have everything perfect. I stay in a lot of hotels and just don't worry about it

I've heard that the bedbugs cause you to lose your feeling in your toes....or is that toothpicks? ;)
