The cost of private jetting is millions per year compared to travelling on a commercial plane. We're talking about cross continent and intercontinental flights.

    WHOOP! THERE IT IS!!

I can’t hardly believe some of the ignorant, negative responses I’m reading from folk who claimed to have been saved and Spirit-filled for decades. It’s a shame before God to have the same poverty mindset knowing that God LOVES to bless His people who do the right thing with the WEALTH He gives them. Well, I know I should just consider the source & ignore. But it’s grievous to see these responses from born again folk.

I guess some folk just aren’t happy unless they have something to criticize and find fault with. How miserable their own lives must be.

Every one knew exactly where their money was going, to buy that specific model of jet. If Copeland doesn't have the X any more and I can't see that he does, it's very possible that the money was raised in the same way, or the X was sold to fund this. According to the article this jet was only 3 million and they're going to put another few million in to update it.

Also, almost every Copeland supporter knows he is a pilot (and flew professionally before he ever became a minister) and they know when they give money that Copeland buys and maintains his jet with some of those donations. So nothing underhanded there.

Finally, any huge ministry has its corporation side. It is a corporation. And many corporations have jets. I'm a pilot myself. I'd rather have my own jet all day long than fly commercial. No security lines, searches, long waits, etc. This isn't any different. If I had a big ministry and had the funds to support it, I would buy one just like any other tool I would buy with ministry funds to help me spread the gospel. It's no different than any other tool.

And when we're talking about God, we're not dealing with limited resources. All things are by and for Him. All the jets belong to Him. May as well be one if his children using them. There's a lot more serious problems than worrying about a ministry having a jet. And like somebody else said, it's between them and God. If something is wrong God will deal with them in due time and in His way.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

We'll all make an account someday, it's not up to us to figure out if those jets fly.

    (pun intended)

Hey, no knock, we'll all have to answer but KC has a fleet (5) of planes, not just the one jet. Oh, and an airport.

It could be 1-4 mil to maintain a jet like that. Like I said in an earlier post God doesn't have limited funds. It all belongs to him anyway including the jets. May as well have one of his children flying and and redeeming it for the kingdom.

Hilarious. That scriptures NOTHING do to with a minister using a jet from transportation.

There are lots of scriptures on stewarding assets. The fact that the money was designated by the givers for that specific purpose makes the whole thing far less questionable than if the ministry had designated general funds for that purpose. One may however question the culture that produces such a response from the givers. Maybe the same givers would have given nothing more to other causes if they hadn't decided to spend their money on private jetting for Copeland, maybe they would have. We don't know.
