    I believe we are primarily
to be led by the inner witness for our own personal direction. But I have seen many bypass all warnings and then a prophetic person or prophet will be sent to warn them of danger. I mean even the big ones miss it and even die because of a missed warning from God. I have been sent to Pastors who said all the right things but were putting their flocks in danger because of dangerous people among them. They actually got mad at me but after a thorough check it was found to be true and they left the church.

    Um, OK.

I don't disagree with any of that.

    I'm still missing your point.

I still don't see where a New Testament Prophet warns against the sort of thing like the Paris attacks.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

    Missed your comment.

I don't see that in the Word as being a function of a N.T. Prophet.

Many wrote back in 2001 that they kept seeing the numbers 911 in prayer but could not get any understanding about it. They were praying though, and some lives were probably spared ? I have sensed attacks coming on the U.S. since then and prayed without getting any details. I have sensed for about two weeks imminent danger for the U.S. from terrorist attack. Now I see that is a real danger after Paris. We need to pray even if we do not get any details.

    Agreed.

But that is not connected to a Prophet functioning under the Anointing.

Now a move of the Spirit to pray, through a Prophet, for a group of people to pray to avert tragedy. Yes

But not to publicly warn about specific bombings.

I have seen Kenneth Hagin Sr. minister under the prophets Anointing in 1987.He said then that if the church does not pray we will see a recession in three years. I picked up a Time magazine in 1990 and the cover said something like, "Recession is here!"So it came just as the prophet said it would. Not a severe recession, but nonetheless a recession .

Also, A Prophet is first and foremost a Gift to the Body of Christ and not to the world.

The Gospel is the main thrust, not "predicting' disasters.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

Right on! (about Brother Hagin, not the recession)

But again that has to do with the Body of Christ and our welfare., not foretelling disasters.
