Think you missed the point that there is no New Testament basis for what you are supposing.

    Prophets obey God.

Name one example from the New Testament where God warned anybody about a disaster.

That's what the Inward Witness is for.

Just because one might think that Prophets would or should prophesy concerning such things is kinda wishful thinking.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

The only time this happens is when the person is spiritually dense. I told a Pastor he had three sexual offenders working for him. He did not believe me. Two left the church because of their sin problems. One was restored. The Pastor never saw it at all. Prophetic people warn about unseen dangers. Believe me this church is very secure today.

It's not getting any better out there and is fact is getting worse, and Christians should be using this as an opening to teach people that a personal relationship with Jesus is the only way to safety.

Jesus even said they would cry peace, peace... but there is not going to be any peace in this world.

    Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
I actually think that you don't even read people's replies half the time.

Where did I say it was going to get better?

    Stop. Read. Think.

Then respond from a place of having a little more comprehension.

In the NT it's not the same as the OT... for us, it's more like a word of knowledge

And, yes I have experienced fore warning concerning things and yes it was an inner witness, a leading of the Holy Spirit that led me away from danger.

    Acts 11:28

    New Living Translation
One of them named Agabus stood up in one of the meetings and predicted by the Spirit that a great famine was coming upon the entire Roman world. (This was fulfilled during the reign of Claudius.)
    Again, you don't read.

    I already addressed that passage.

    Try again.

You just got finished saying the bad things were not going to happen... and that's not what God's Word teaches concerning the end times.

You are either being really obtuse or you just don't read.

Quote me were I said that bad things would not happen.

    Not gonna happen.

I'm not saying darkness is going to over take God, but look around you... darkness is in fact taking over this world.

This is why the end of this age is upon us and after the great tribulation Jesus Christ is going to take over management of this earth and is going to lock satan up for 1000 years.

If a true prophetic person sat for 5 minutes with you he or she could show you something you are unaware of. You may or may not have a inner witness on it ? I follow that teaching but not 100 per-cent of the time because it is not true.I used to think the Pastor saw it all because he was the set man ! Absolutely not true. I saw dangerous people pass the tests and get leadership positions. They later had to be removed.

Not quite sure I understand your comment, or it's context.

Could you elaborate a little more?
