One FB commenter made a good point. If the building inspector said the church building was unstable and forced it to close and the pastor defied the order, would he be in the right? Would this be an infringement of his first amendment rights? If a church bus was deemed unsafe, would the pastor be in the right if he defied an order to stop using the bus? Churches are not being singled out. They are places where large numbers of people congregate. And right now, large congregations of people spread disease. I don't think it's unreasonable or curtailing First Amendment rights to insist the public meetings be temporarily halted. Especially in a day and age when we can meet via the internet. I will save my worries for when churches are closed because they're being singled out for being Christians.
Has he announced what he's going to do this Sunday or from here on?
He was just doing a FBLive and taking calls. I just listened to enough to hear him say he's going to comply, as far as the sheriff ordering him closed but he's going to fight for the constitution.

If I heard right, he said the police were planning to set up road blocks to where they couldn't enter. Also, he was told the police would also arrest the members. However, the fight is not over. They are going to fight this perhaps all the way to the Supreme Court.
I got a text tonight from someone saying Florida is lifting the ban on churches meeting and will be re-classified as "essential " falling in line with Texas. I'm still looking for a press release though.

The video Brother Smitty posted is a good listen.
