The moment he adds tithing into the mix he loses all credibility with me. One more out to fleece the flock.

Yep. But that wasn't Shawn Boltz. That was somebody else.

And I didn't edit your previous post. I hit it by accident.

The 2 examples I have given reveal that ministers are assuming God has spoken to them about the caronavirus

If people want to prophesy they need to make sure they hear from God not take guesses or assume or 'think' God has spoken to them.
We are not talking about baby believers but ministers who should know the difference between assumption and real Holy Spirit unction

Since the caronavirus is a international problem affecting the whole world then a prophecy should be of greater clarity and urgency

Compared to Kim Clement who was formulating that Trump prophecy on a platform in real time, Shawn Bolz has had time to pray and think about it before making it public. But the lack of clarity could amount to a lack of boldness meaning he's afraid that the prophecy will fail.

The below is what Shawn Bolz has put on his FB page...it doesn't seem he is afraid of his prophecy failing but seems happy it is on secular news

Not trying to pick on Shawn but using his prophecy make my point ... btw I like he is recommending prayer for the virus

I came to my conclusions about prophets and prophecy unrelated to Shawn ...it just happens his coranvirus example comes at a relevant time

    Shawn Bolz
Fox News is carrying my spiritual prophetic word about the coronavirus tide turning. They interviewed me today. Let's pray with Cindy Jacobs and the Global day of prayer that is today to end the Coronovirus!

    In regard to prophecies

We are to 'test all prophecies' and not show favoritism to someone we like or even has a good past record or has a 'name'.
Ministers must be held to a standard of character but also a standard of 'delivering the Word' by preaching or prophecy.

All ministers need to stay 'sober minded' about giving prophecies. Too much junk is being released into the church and Christians are swallowing it.
Read the responses by fans of their favorite prophet or minister and they 'ooh' and ahh' like they are a famous celebrity.
The worst part are many believers follow similar methods to unsaved who look to astrology for guidance - it's a form of witchcraft

IMO many prophetic websites are just money spinners for the owners - the more readers and more prophecies gets more $$$
A couple of years ago I was thrown off a prophetic website by the owner because I dared challenge one of the major people giving prophecies
I asked that this person's prophecies be accountable and tested but instead I got the boot

The owner was more interested in activity than in accuracy

Could it be that the reason why Fox News has an article on his prophecy is that his Kanye West prophecy from 4 years ago was accurate ? They mention that in the same article.

At the same time 1 Thes 5:20 instructs us not to despise prophecy which all the junk out there makes it easy to do. Test everything but also keep the good.

I agree and if the church did that we would eliminate the majority of prophecies online and keep the remaining good ones

One thing is for sure, it'll judge itself shortly. That's why I don't feel any need to speak out on it one way or another. He's put it out there and we'll see soon enough. I just hope it is from God.

I don't see how one can 'test' this. Either it's true or not and we'll know eventually in the not too distant future.
