If I came in the--the spirit of--of John Dillinger, you would expect me to have guns and--and act like Mr. Dillinger did. And if I told you I came here, and I'm a Christian, and the Spirit of Christ is upon me, you would expect me to act and do like Jesus did, for His Spirit would be upon me. Is that right? Then what He done, "These things that I do, greater shall you do; for I go to My Father." Is that the Scripture?
Now, the Spirit of Christ is in the Church. It has never left the Church; It's been in the Church. And the days are growing evil, because that knowledge, man's knowledge, that he received in the garden of Eden... When he left the Tree of Life to eat from the tree of knowledge, that knowledge is increasing constantly. And as knowledge increases, they get away from the Bible and get into a theory. But Jesus said, and the Bible's full, that when they came... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.]...?... And now, the power has come, for the world has become very skeptic.
And I believe that we're living in the hours just before the coming of Jesus the second time. Now, upon that, in speaking that the Spirit of Christ still is in the Church and in the people... I'll explain to you how the gift came and how it works. I was born of a humble parents, borned being a Catholic. I was born in Kentucky. And I believe that gifts and callings, as I said, are without repentance, that you're born here in the world with these gifts. Just the same as you're born to be a musician. You might give your child, give it all kinds of lessons. But if that musical talent isn't in it, it'll never do no more good. Is that right? But we're born the same way in the spiritual realms, for gifts and callings of God are without repentance. That you might know, Jesus Christ was foreordained of God. He was the One was seen from the garden of Eden. Do you believe that?
Seems like I read somewhere there are a big group of Branhamites in Australia somewhere.
It boggles my mind how groups could follow him past his strange teachings where he got off and especially nearly 60 years ago.

They're cults, continuing Branham's erroneously strange doctrine. God had to remove him before he caused more damage to the body of Christ. smh :-(
On a side note: His cousin (Professor Sonny Branham) who teaches at ORU, is a striking resemblance to William. Yet, he didn't even know him personally. I had him for Government.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

I've read Gordon Lindsay's books "God's 20th Century Barnabas" and "William Branham: A Man Sent From God" where he talks about his travels and dealings with Branham, the good and the bad. Branham was foolish enough to not pay income tax and got into trouble with the IRS in the 1950s. He turned to the United Pentecostal Church for ministry opportunities to pay his tax debt and started teaching their doctrines and some other crazy ideas until God let him die in a car wreck in 1965. Sad end to a remarkable story.

Most of "Gods Generals" from that era ended up shipwrecked in one way or another.
I find it odd in regards to Branham that the general wisdom is that "God removed him from the scene" when most who espouse that would never attribute that kind of death to the Lord. Even the hard core WOF will go along with the "God removed him" bit. lol
William Branham died six days after a head on collision with a drunk teenager that was driving on the wrong side of the road. The teenager was killed instantly as was one of his teenage passengers.
Of course, since Dad Hagin claimed to prophecy WBs death, it has to be "The Lord removed him from the scene".
John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.
