I've seen a sample of the gold dust myself and the flakes looked filmlike with a slightly golden color. It certainly wasn't actual gold dust, nor was it a metal. I don't know about gemstones or gold fillings. I know that one minister was caught on camera placing feathers on people's clothing while they had their eyes closed, I don't know if that minister had anything to do with the ones you are implicitly referring to. I know that someone had feathers that allegedly appeared in one meeting tested and they were found to originate from a specific pillow manufacturer.

If the above makes someone angry (whoever you are) then you should ask yourself why because I'm merely going with what I know and I'm not concluding anything beyond that.

Christian heresy hunters (like the ones on CARM) are typically more even handed when criticizing and it revolves more around specific areas that they are interested in. The world in general (which is what wikipedia typically reflects) criticizes more according to the spiritual battle that is going on, meaning that specific areas may amount to nothing much more than excuses for attacking. Doesn't mean that the criticism isn't legitimate in and of itself, but there is something else driving it.

Rodney is the real deal, most current supernatural ministry (good and flaky) can be traced back to his ministry. Some carried it well, the anointing, Brownsville for example bore good fruit, the Toronto thing went off track, took the focus away from the cross and onto manifestations and "presence", much flakiness has ensued from that in various streams but you can't put that onto Rodney, he never went there. His ministry is Holy Ghost ministry, lifting up and pointing to Christ, reliance on the power of God.

No scandals, still married to the same woman, still focused on souls., Christ and Him crucified.

I've always liked Rodney. He's hitting the evangelism real hard now which is good too. The only thing I don't like about his evangelism approach though, and I am familiar with it and what they do, is it has a great potential for a lot of false converts, because it basically boils down to getting people to 'pray the prayer' with you. I've seen video of people coming back to his crusades where an indivdual led say 100 people to the Lord while being out. Well, what they really did was get 100 people to 'pray the prayer' with them. I'm glad he's doing it obviously, but I think the numbers are way off on how many actually get saved based on 'praying the prayer'. We all know just because you can get somebody to 'pray the prayer' with you that they don't necessarily get saved.

I've done quite a bit of street evangelism, parking lot preaching, it's no small thing to get someone to "pray the prayer", people don't "just do that". I've run into some people who couldn't even say the name of Jesus, the devil had them locked up.
