Seriously.
Thank you! There have been modern day preachers whom God use to “punch” folk. My spiritual father is one of them.

This is what could happen. Statement from a naysayer :
"Apparently the amputated leg grew out but we know that that is impossible so there must be some trick involved. What we do know is that he punched the child because we have this on eleven people's phones so we know that he is a child molester"

You have naysayers no matter what. Everybody just has to obey God. Can't be worried about your reputation when you're obeying God.

Well, what I don't get is that SW himself would agree with the statement that diseases are caused by a demonic attack. But demons are not physical beings. How does punching a person (presumably thus punching the demon) have any effect in the spiritual world? Demons are expelled when their hosts are punched? I just don't get that.

Again I repeat, who cares?
The devil is going to speak against anything that God might be doing.
If one is being so led of the Spirit, we cannot let the fear of man stop us.
.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

It was more of a point of contact in which they released their faith.
God accepted it.

I had wondered about that too and Ephesians 6:12 would come to mind: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Its not that we always have to understand the whys and hows of when Holy Spirit leads us to do something but that does make sense.

Todd Bentley wasn't acting in faith when he kicked that lady on the floor so that she would be healed. She wasn't healed either. It was presumption. A presumption that created a bad reputation for him that lingers. The Bible talks about having a good reputation with outsiders and being at peace with people to the degree that it is up to us. These things aren't irrelevant to God.

Don’t worry about getting it Bookie. You’ll probably never be led to minister in that manner because your senses would get in the way. It takes a level of trust and an assurance of knowing the voice of God.
To be candid, I don’t get why Jesus spit on folks to heal them? He could’ve just laid His hands on them...But He was CONFIDENT that He heard from God and obeyed. How many of us would use our spittal on a person for healing? I’d probably have to have a vision of Jesus encouraging me or an angelic appearance!
