Silently (meaning voice lowered), of course I have. Many times, and often. However, I've never heard of anyone praying in tongues w/o speaking, until I read this...

I'd like to see scriptural evidence that supports speaking in tongues "inwardly" or inaudibly. And I hope nobody tries to use Hannah's so-called "silent prayer" as evidence.

Not sure what your interpretation of what I said even means. "Speaking in tongues silently" should do.

When one says "not adding voice", even to the average person it means not speaking.

I said "add voice to the speech". Even if the wording is strange, it's still comprehensible.

I speak in tongues silently within my spirit quite often. There are times it is not appropriate to speak out loud. In fact, there are few times my spirit isn't praying, praising or tongues. It is part of walking in the Spirit.
