(please note the humor with a little sarcasm thrown n 2 lighten the moment)
Suffering persecution does not make anyone any better than those who happen to not have suffered it. The same apostle Paul might have suffered little to no persecution under different circumstances or times. Would that have made him a lesser servant of God ? Not necessarily.

I don't know...when God tugged me out of the WOF movement I stopped listening to any of them..

I do believe KC is a very humble man of integrity...so he was certainly a good candidate for that correction. I also know he passed the litmus test of the IRS who wanted to prove all these men of God had misappropriated funds..I would not hesitate to listen to any of his teachings again and gleaned much from him..in fact he was the only one that I ever migrated to because of his spirit..

One passage I recall that WAS a cornerstone of the message of prosperity was Galatians 3

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-- for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE "-- 14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

But I don't believe that passage is speaking of Abraham's financial prosperity as it sates 'the blessing' and I view the blessing as the Messianic promise
and "So that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

I think he was addressing another aspect of WOF teaching that one should never suffer..sort of an extreme version of we are the head and not the tail...I did not hear any of them teach that one would not suffer persecutions though..only that they should not suffer from financial lack or physical problems as I recall. At least from what I studied.

I can't remember hearing anyone claim that one would not suffer persecution. I can recall someone on CARM accusing someone of something like that but without producing any evidence for that.

RIGHT!!!! Quest gets a Suffering is a part of our life witness. i have sat under this type of teaching and the word coming out of somes mouths was "that we would not suffer because we were under Gods divine protection!"

Yes but that typically doesn't include persecution.
